DAY OF COORDINATION
Sometimes you don't need someone to plan your whole event, you just need someone to make sure your your wedding day goes smoothly or maybe you have planned most of your wedding and just need a little help with some last minute things or some negotiations on vendors; don't worry call us we are here to help.
Our Day Of Coordination consist of but are not limited to the following:
Before the Wedding
- We start coordinating as soon as contract is signed; we will email you a form to fill out that will tell us who all you have hired such as venue, bakery, photographer etc. Once we receive that back we will contact each vendor and let them know that we have been hired to handle all the coordination for the wedding day; by doing this it will cut down on the numerous calls to you from all the vendors, they will call me and I will get with you and give you suggestions or what not and I will get back with the vendor.
- Approximately a month or two prior to the wedding we will sit down and write a timeline, this will tell everyone what time you want the announcements, first dance, dinner served etc... We will then give you a copy, we will keep a copy and I will send copies to EVERY vendor so they will all know what time stuff should be done and it will run smoothly and coordinated. I will also have copies on hand on the day at set up just in case someone forgets theres (it always happens). This also helps you make sure you have everything taken care of and haven't forgotten any details.
- We make ourselves accessible via phone, text, email, Skype or face time for our clients anytime and do not charge extra for this because we understand sometimes things come up or you may want to add something and would like suggestions or us to call and try to negotiate a reasonable rate.

Day of Wedding
- Our team will arrive at the Ceremony location beginning in the morning to assist in any set up that you wish us to handle and to make sure all the vendors arrive on time and are doing assigned tasks. We also carry a kit with batteries, tape, safety pins etc just incase they were forgotten or ran out.
- Decorate the Sign in table and any other tables desired such as cocktail hour, cake table, sweetheart table etc
- At the Ceremony we will be there to greet the guests and seat them or direct them, line up the Wedding party, help bride and groom with any touch ups they may need and pin boutineers on groomsmen.
- Clean up Ceremony location after Ceremony and take flowers or any other decorations to location specified by couple.
- At the Reception, we will again greet guest, show them to the sign in table , cocktail hour and gift table and answer any questions they may have.
- Upon completion of Cocktail hour we will direct all guests to the seating to prepare for the bride and grooms entrance and dinner, at such time we will also secure all the gifts in a secure area .
- We will be cueing the DJ, band, caterers at the designated times that things are to be happening
- You will see us walking around picking up any trash throughout the evening as well, so tables will be clear and free of clutter; last thing you want is a table full of plates and trash in your wedding pictures.
- At the end of the evening we will put all gifts and decorations in preferred vehicle for safe transport and will clean up the Venue.
Wedding Planning
Your Joyous events understand that planning the wedding of your dreams can be very stressful and especially stressful if you are on a budget. If you are wanting to plan the perfect wedding give us a call today we will be more then happy to help you; in our wedding planning we include all the day of and the following:
- We will set up a consultation via phone, Skype, face time or face to face at which time you will tell me what exactly you envision for your perfect day; we will also set up a budget. Also at this time you will tell us some venues you have in mind.
- Our first step will to locate and schedule the venue, that tends to be the hardest task because they book up so quickly. We will first call around to all the venues you have in mind and try to negotiate the pricing, we have worked with numerous venues and alot of the times we can get it at a discounted rate.
- Once we have the Venue secured we will then start working on the other vendors such as the caterers, photographers, bakeries etc, we will set up tastings and meetings with them and accompany you on those dates to help you with any questions you may have and offer suggestions.
- Make sure that you do not go over budget, if we see that one thing is more then budgeted we can move some things around to ensure you do not go over that budgeted amount. I can give you some suggestions on how to cut costs on some things as well.
- Address all invitations and mail them out
- Send out Save the Dates
